That’s why I strongly recommend these. They are a bit of a pain to install (the block in the back is rather large, and barely fits in regular receptacles, and the screws are on the side, with the possibility of a short when squeezing it into the receptacle – not that this would have happened 😉
The circuit is 15Amps, though. Should be fine. The USB has 2.1A output @ 5V David Shaverdi
Heather Atkins – stay away from the ones in hardware store. Most of them suck on one level or another. Buy these instead:
