  1. dose: the amount of medicine you take every time it is administered.

    dosage: the frequency at which the dose (see above) is to be administered.

    ie “a dose of 500mg of amoxicillin, at a dosage of 3 times per day.”

  2. Here’s the rub – we’re all learned, smart individuals. If most of us can’t get it right, what chance do pseudoscience acolytes, and science-haters have?

  3. a) knowledge is always good b) the nutters basic confusion comes from misunderstanding those concepts. There is no hope in explaining anything, if we do my know them either. (Not explaining to the nutters, but to those who listen).
