  1. I’m absolutely fascinated and blown away by not just all the math involved, but how they use all the knowledge gained so far, to pull off insane feats of accuracy.

    The last Mars Rover’s landing maneuver was, essentially, an impossible feat – and I was speechless for minutes when it was obvious that they pulled it off, but even more so, as more and more footage (including from the perfectly synchronized orbiter) came in, showing how insanely accurate this was.

    …. and it keeps getting better and better.
