Giant tortoise that apparently floated at least 460 miles in the ocean, from the island of Aldabra to the coast of Tanzania. The white things on its legs and shell are barnacles, some big enough to show that the tortoise had been in the water for well over a month. Photo by Catharine Joynson-Hicks.
