The False Equivalence narrative certain contributed, as it helped strengthen the idiots with the “they are all the same” or “both sides are the same” narratives.

The media is always desperate to report on a contest, and when there is none there, they invariably create the perception of one.

They did so during the primary – despite there being no contest (Sanders clearly was losing every step of the way), the media exaggerated every caucus win of Sanders’ (with just a couple of thousand, or hundreds, of voters “Sanders is catching up”) and downplayed wins that Hillary carried by millions (“can she erase her losses to Sanders”), and they then continued doing the same during the general election, as the article illustrates.

Says media’s approach to campaign 2016 led to ‘misleading’ coverage.
