The government has barred Greenpeace India from receiving foreign funds and frozen seven accounts of the environmental group, which has in recent months refuted allegations that it is running campaigns that are damaging the economy.

  1. They are douchebags who will certify as ‘ok’ anyone who suddenly makes a substantial monetary donation to them. Hence, their environmental stance is hypocrisy.

  2. Just because once in a while they point their fingers at a semi-valid situation, doesn’t validate their stance, or their policies, or their actions.

  3. Fair point. Again, I don’t see where such burning coal mines matter in the grand scheme of things. Particularly in India.

  4. I agree with you about thorium reactors – though more work needs to be done on them to make them more commercially feasible, as far as I understand.
