Yeah, this is a common issue in JJ Abrams movies – total lack of understanding of physics. Kinda like the train derailing in ‘8mm’, or pretty much anything in ‘Cloverfield’

Starkiller base could have been envisioned a lot better than what we got. Glad it blew up.

  1. There’s suspension of disbelief, and then there’s just gross insulting the intelligence of your audience. Things like transfer of mass, etc, are pretty obvious.

    They could have made Starkiller Base just be capable of blowing up the star of a given range of planets – just as deadly.

    That’s probably happening in in Episode VIII – revenge of the First Order
